Chad Orzel is a physics professor at "a small liberal arts college" who blogs about interesting physics facts and findings, professional football, fantasy, music, humorous tidbits and even dog conversations. This blog is enjoyable to read because of these diversions from the difficult subject of physics, not in spite of them.
Those interested in the subject of physics may find that raw lists of links to published papers and articles fail to offer any sage explanations of the material. Occasionally Orzel does offer his own thoughts and analysis of physics, and does so as the teacher that he is. These are definitely worth the trouble, but it's a shame such posts are so rare.
