Journalist Chris Mooney is Washington correspondent for Seed magazine, covering environmental issues and science advocacy. Sheril Kirshenbaum is a marine biologist. The two have teamed up to produce The Intersection, and it's a fine mix of science analysis, science promotion and science reporting.
There's a lot of talk about the weather, which almost everybody finds strangely fascinating, and quite a bit of talk about the politics of science and the science of politics. The posts are well written, the subject matter timely, and the slant is predictable. This blog is good for keeping abreast of general science chatter across the blogosphere and sometimes breaks the news.
