This is a documentary blog about the two-year voyage of Henri de Buren, a trained naturalist, artist and explorer. In the 1850s, Henri left the life of a privileged Swiss baron and explored the Americas for two years. His great-great-grandson, Jean-Francois de Buren, tries to retrace Henri's steps and, in the process, makes a place for Henri in the history books.
