The cheerful oncologist is Dr. Craig Hildreth with a private practice treating cancer, a deep appreciation of the art of comedy and an apparent ability to play the piano. His blog is an eclectic mix of case history anecdotes, examination of incoming research, a hard look at "alternative" therapies, and some very good advice about diet and keeping healthy while hopefully keeping cancer at bay.
The most political Hildreth seems to get is when the subject of health care rationing, bad doctors or bad policies comes up, and those come up too often for his taste (or his readers', I'm pretty sure). Hildreth's cheerful nature comes through in his writing, so enjoy!
