Matthew Nisbet is a social scientist whose specialty is strategic communications in scientific and environmental controversies, but he's not shy of politics either. His blog about "framing" positions for conveying certain ideas in positive light is full of sound analysis and pertinent applications for anyone interested in a subject that shapes perceptions across the board in our modern, communications-driven world.
Nisbet also covers controversies related to religion in politics and science, with more rationality than many of the partisans in the SciBlog community do. Which of course leads to no end of fun discussions in the comments section for those of us who would rather sit in the cheering section than shed blood on the arena floor. Framing Science is one of the best of Seed's science blogs, very much worthy of the title.
