dooce (R) is the website of Heather B. Armstrong, started in February 2001. That ends the “normal” part of this website, its time to see life from a new perspective. Heather talks about parenting, raising a puppy and everything else in her life with a perfect blend of humor, sarcasm and brutal honesty.
When she started this website, she was single and working as a web designer in Los Angeles. She tells us about being fired because of her website, getting married, moving to Utah, becoming pregnant and experiencing such severe post-partum depression that she landed in a Mental Hospital. She is better now, and lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband, three year old daughter and two dogs.
